This recipe was modified for you by Beata, our production manager. Thus, she proved that gluten-free fava beans can be light, crunchy and easy to prepare. Thanks to the right flour mixture and a few tried-and-true tricks, the dough does not stick to the rolling pin and the board, and the favors themselves disappear from the plate in no time at all! Meet the recipe that has won the hearts of gluten-free baking fans:
Ingredients for gluten-free fava beans:
✔ 180 g rice flour
✔ 110 g tapioca starch
✔ 70 g corn flour
✔ 2 teaspoons our egg plant
✔ 4 egg yolks
✔ 150 g 18% cream
✔ 3 tablespoons of water
✔ 2 tablespoons of butter
✔ 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
✔ 1 teaspoon powdered or vanilla sugar
✔ Pinch salts
How to make perfect gluten-free fava beans?
1. Preparation of the dough
In a bowl, mix all dry ingredients. Add water, vinegar, egg yolks, cream and melted butter and mix everything vigorously. Remember that our pudder egg plant gels very quickly. Therefore, cand the property thoroughly knead - if you have a Thermomix, set the time to 2 min 30 sec.
2. Rolling and shaping
Let the dough rest for 15 minutes, then divide into 4 parts and roll out each part thinly. Cut out rectangles, cut down the middle and thread one end through the hole, creating the classic shape of fava beans.
3. Frying
Heat the oil in a wide pot and fry the fava beans in batches until golden brown. After frying, drain them on paper towel.
4. Finishing
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy the taste of the best crunchy fava beans!
