Our corn germ oil is cold-pressed in a process where the temperature never exceeds 35 degrees Celsius, preserving all the natural nutritional value and flavor.
What are the properties of corn germ oil?
Corn oil is known all over the world. In Poland, its popularity is growing every year. Not without reason. Corn germ oil provides many fat-soluble vitamins and provides essential fatty acids NNKT.
The most important ingredients found in the oil:
- linoleic acid (45-70%),
- oleic acids (30%),
- palmitic acid (13%),
- stearic acid (4%).
Linoleic acid, present in corn germ oil, is important for brain and nervous system function. Helps regulate the transmission of nerve signals and may help improve mood and cognitive function.
Corn germ oil is a very good source of vitamin E (tocopherol) and carotene. Thanks to these ingredients, the oil contributes to lowering oxidative stress and "bad" cholesterol levels.
Regular use of corn germ oil, both internally and externally, can help improve skin condition. Vitamin E and fatty acids help keep the skin moisturized and supple, as well as protect it from harmful UV rays.
It is worth noting that corn oil has more omega-6 acids in it relative to omega-3 acids (59:1). Maintain a 4:1 ratio in your daily diet. However, this does not mean that this product should be avoided! Used in combination with products with a high content of omega-3 (fish, nuts) will be a good addition and variety to our diet.
Corn germ oil is characterized by a relatively neutral taste and smell, making it an excellent addition to a variety of dishes because it does not dominate flavor.
