Ingredients:
- 125 g of potato flakes
- 420 ml of water (about 2 cups)
- 200 ml of milk (about 1 cup)
- 1 teaspoon salt
Method of preparation:
Pour water and milk into a pot, add salt and bring to a boil. When the liquid comes to a boil, remove the pot from the heat and gently pour in the potato flakes. Do not stir and continue to cook. Allow the potato flakes to absorb the liquid and swell up, which will ensure the perfect consistency of the puree. After a few minutes, gently blend the puree to a smooth texture. If you wish, you can now add your favorite toppings, such as butter, dill, dried onions, herbes de Provence or nutmeg to enrich the flavor of the puree.
